• I’m just going through moving a load of blog posts from one blog to another.

If I import all the wp-table-reloaded rows from my wp-options table on the old site to the new site the rows existing id’s in the option_id column will get overwritten. If I import them with new id’s in the option_id column will it still work?

I suppose what I’m really asking is does the plugin use the option_id as a selector when querying the DB or does it just use the value in the option_name column ie wp_table_reloaded_data_1116?

    Thanks

    Hi,

the plugin only uses option_name and does not care about the option_id.

An easier way for transfering all tables and settings to a new blog might however be to use a “WP-Table Reloaded Dump File”, which you can create on the “Plugin Options” screen of the old site, and then re-import on that screen on the new site.

    Regards,
    Tobias
