[Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Insert Table button on Editor toolbar missing in IE8

  • WP-Table Reloaded is a great plug-in and is really helping get my site looking good. Many thanks for all the hard work.

    However, I’ve just come across a weird problem. When I’m editing pages WordPress using Firefox, the Insert Table button appears as expected on the editor toolbar. However, when I’m editing pages using IE8 as the browser, the Insert Table button doesn’t appear. Is there some setting I need to change in IE8?

    yes, this is a known issue. I have heard that before and can reproduce it occasionally, but really don’t know why it happens. I believe to be doing everything correct in adding the button to the toolbar, but JavaScript can be tricky sometimes I guess.

    Until a solution is found, I can only advise to use a different webbrowser, like Firefox or Chrome, where this issue does not appear.
    If you need to stick to IE, you will need to type the Shortcode for the table manually.
    Sorry that I don’t have a more positive answer… ??
