• Due to the configuration of my server, I have to do a manual upgrade of my wp-table-admin to the latest version 1.7. When I check the version information though, I see that the DB version is still 1.6.1 – is this normal, and would it have happened if I had been able to use automatic update? Is there any negative effect of having out of sync versions of the DB and script?

Any way to manually update the DB version?

  • Hi,

    manually updating is fine.

You just forgot one step ??
You need to deactivate and then re-activate the plugin.

Ideally, you would deactivate it before you remove the old files and then re-activate it after you copied the new files onto the server.

It should however also work to do this deactivation/re-activation now.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
