    Hi Arnold,

    thanks for the question.

    This extra white-space comes from the DataTables JavaScript library, which you have activated for your tables. However, it can not work as you are using combined cells.

    So, the easiest fix is to simply deactivate the usage of that JavaScript library. Just go to the “Plugin Options” screen of WP-Table Reloaded and uncheck the “Enable JavaScript library” checkbox.
