I am trying to create a table that needs two rows for the table headings (with the second row being more detailed).
Using the normal interface, I can’t declare the 2nd row as part of the headings.
Is there any way to use DataTools on this kind of table?

    Hi Niklaus,

currently it is not possible to have a second header row with WP-Table Reloaded, sorry.
If you really need one, you could use CSS to style the second row so that it looks like a header row though.

And regarding DataTables: I’m not 100% sure, but the last time I checked there were some problems with DataTables on tables with multiple header rows.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Guess I’ll just have to do without sortable tables and style where necessary.
    Thanks for your answer, Tobias.
