    Hi,

    sorry for the late answer.

Yes, something like what you describe should be possible with the “Filtering Extension” from my website: https://tobias.baethge.com/2010/03/extension-6-showing-only-rows-that-match-a-filter/

I’m running into a problem. For some reason, even after following all the instructions, the table doesn’t appear on the page.

    It’s completely gone when I use [table id=12 filter=”挨拶” /]
    or [table id=12 filter=”coffee” /]. Using [table id=12 /] works perfectly though.

    Hi,

the table probably does not appear on the page, because no cells matched your search word.
Remember: You can only perform exact matching! So, you will need to have a cell with the exact content “coffee” in it. Searching for “coffee” will not find cells with for example “coffee break” in them!

A trick that most people use here: Add a new column at the end of the table and hide it (using the “Hide” feature). Into that column, for each row, you can not add the filter word that shall belong to this row.

    Regards,
    Tobias

That does indeed do the trick. ??
    Again, thank you for everything!
