[Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] two tables side by side on a page/post

  • I was looking to merge rows but then discovered that its not possible.. then I thought of having 2 tables side by side where i can have a longer column where I don’t have to merge cells..

    can someone help.. me figure out as of now if I put two tables together, only 1 works and second one does not show up.. just the code is output on the post.. no table..

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

    But you can actually merge cells in two rows! That feature is called “rowspanning” and to use it, check out the button (and the help button next to it) below the text input fields on the “Edit” screen of your table.

    For the problem that only the Shortcode shows on your site: Can you point me to the direct URL, I could not find that place from your main page.

    Greetings..and thanks for this excellent plugin.
    Im trying to display 2 or more tables on the same page.
    The first table shows but the second one only shows a shortcode and deosnt render the table.

    I’ve googled online and have seen instances with multple tables on the same page. How do i accomplish this?

    I have disabled the javascript pagination stuff cos I dont need that functionality. Can you help?

    Hi,

    two or more problems is absolutely no problem.
    I assume that there is something wrong with that second shortcode.
    Did you maybe copy&paste it from somewhere (which sometimes can result in broken characters)?

    Can you provide a link to the page where this is happening?

    SOLVED !!!
    The 2 tags cannot be on the same line. I added a line break “Enter” in between them and presto! it worked !!

    Pat on the back for this one dude. This plugin met all my expectations

    Hi,

    ah, yes, that could be the explanation. There sometimes seem to be problems with WordPress recognizing two Shortcodes in one line.

    Great that this could be fixed so easily, and great to hear that you like the plugin so much!
