    Hi,

    yes, what you post are good methods for this. However, using them directly with WP-Table Reloaded is not that easy.

    The best way would be to use WP-Table Reloaded just as the provider of the HTML code of your table and then to manually include those features. This requires some minor code developing, but you can simply follow the instructions and examples on the DataTables website.

    Forgive my ignorance I am normally quite good with these things, but I have been searching that site for the better part of my day and I am still confused.

    they just have a snippet of jquery, no mention where to paste it or use it.

    Hi,

    that needs to be used in the HTML source code of the page. It should be enough to paste it below the table (here, the Shortcode). Additionally, you will need to manually load the corresponding files, by adding them to the head of the page (for example by using the HiFi plugin https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/hifi/).

    To get a better understanding of where the code should be located (in relation to the table HTML), I suggest to take a look at the source code of the Example pages on the DataTables website.
