• This sounded like the ideal plugin for me but I’m using 2.5, I can see people (including the author) saying it doesn’t work on 2.5. I thought I’d install it anyway and see if I could fix it, but it works fine as it is, activates with no problem and I can add and view tables etc. Am I missing something here? Don’t want to start putting data in if I’m going to find something else down the line. What happens to others when they say it’s not working?

  • Yes, it works after a WP 2.5 upgrade. The plugin stood active during the upgrade process.

Hmm, I don’t quite understand – I had an older version, upgraded to 2.5 when it came out, then yesterday installed wp-table for the first time and had no problems at all. The plugin wasn’t installed during my upgrade. Curious. Just thought it worth mentioning for others, even though it says it’s not 2.5 compatible it seems to work for me, maybe it will for you too.

Hi, works for me too. I installed wp-table 1.52 on a clean wordpress 2.5 and activated without any problem. I’ve tested a bit (adding new table, importing table, insert/delete rows etc) and worked well.

I haven’t been able to get it to work at all on either new 2.5 installs or upgrades of existing sites. It works ok if I upgrade wp without disabling the plugin, but it won’t reactivate if I disable it.

I really need a fix on this one, anybody come up with anything?

The WP-Table activation bug seems to crop up when you also have Cforms running. At least that is the case on my system… after upgrading to 2.5, with the latest version of Cforms running, WP-Table seems to have a problem activating.

If I disable Cforms, then enable WP-Table, then re-enable Cforms, everything seems to activate OK. Don’t know for sure yet if all functionality is working.
