  • I back up my databases weekly and started having a similar problem yesterday. I don’t get the SSL error message, but a login unsuccessful exception message, shown below.

I’ve verified the user name and password are correct and that I can log into the Dropbox website using them.

    Any ideas? Thanks, Gary

Same problem here… Last successful transfer on 10.02.

    Hello,
yes, same problem as Majonez and Gary_Petersen.
    Greetings.

I’m also experiencing the same “Login unsuccessful” problem (see log output below).

Could this have something to do with Dropbox’s recent “two-step verification” update?

    https://blog.dropbox.com/index.php/another-layer-of-security-for-your-dropbox-account/

I haven’t turned this option on in my Dropbox account, but perhaps the underlying authentication method has changed.

I think there may have been a change with Dropbox indeed, as we had a similar issue in an unrelated (custom-made) script that sends some PDF from an accounting application to our DB account. Not solved yet.

I just thought I’d add my name to the list. Same issue…
