[Plugin: wp Time Machine] Feature Suggestion – Zip Sql File / Secure url "cron" call

Hello,
I’m running your plugin and I’m really happy with it. It does a good job!

But there are two things that may be improved in the actual setup. One from a security side, and the other from the “space occupation” side.

1. Security: It would be nice to try to protect the url that is called to generate the backups through curl. Is there a way to implement this? (Like some kind of password. I know this wouldn’t solve the entire problem, but at least we would be preventing DDOS attacks to that file).

2. Space occupation: Would it be possible to zip the SQL file? Zipping a text file would result in a good use in space. And I’m owning two blogs one of which has a lot of content, therefore the sql file grows a little bit ??

Anyway great plugin! These are just advices ??
