[Plugin: WP to Twitter] Tweeting an old post that hasn't been tweeted before

    Just curious if it’s possible to ‘force’ tweet an old post that was not previously tweeted.

    This would be with the WP to Twitter settings set to only post on “Publish”.

    I’ve tried setting old posts back to “Draft” and then “Publishing” again, but that doesn’t trigger it.

    I know that if you set it to post on “Update” you can get it to go that way, but I’m trying to keep things simple for a client to avoid accidental pushes to Twitter every time there’s a slight text change to a post.

    That should work. It does in my quick testing – although, as a note, if the text of the re-tweet is the same as the last tweet sent, then it will fail, every time — Twitter rejects repeat tweets. Could that be relevant with your tests?
