[Plugin: WP Tweet Button] Access denied while trying to activate plugin v2.1.2

  • Installed plugin on localhost/xampp — no problem.
    While attempting to install on my PROD environment if fails to activate and/or even to delete. Checked folder permissions, etc. it seems fine. I can activate/deactivate all other plugins with no problems. I have “Twitter Tools” installed and “TweetMeme Retweet Button” is inactive. Any ideas anyone?
    Following is the error msg:
