  • Yeah! Seems to work for me. 3 users online, no php errors or other warnings.

But 1 question. Where the middle line, telling me again the number of online users is coming from? How can i remove it? Screenshot

The middle line should show something like this:

    admin, 2 guests

You can control what is diplayed there by going to Settings -> UserOnline

and modifying the “User(s) Browsing Site:” template.

Okay, but i left all template fields blank except the first one. Why is it displayed then?

But in the meantime i could figure out, which file is responsible for its output. It′s the admin.php in line 33-34. I commented those two lines out.

    It works for me now!

    Quick problemsolving.

    Thanks Scibu

    Seems to work
    no problems to report!

2.73-beta works for me too, so many thanks for that, scribu.

Is there a way for me to manually “kick-start” the values for %MOSTONLINE_COUNT% and %MOSTONLINE_DATE% so that I can get back to what I had before?

2.73-beta works, but there is still the %MOSTONLINE_DATE% problem showing the current time.

On a second website I’ve seen the date problem already with the older version 2.70. And I’m sure a few days ago it was working correctly. Maybe some other plugin did the mess?

Now it works again. The output of %MOSTONLINE_DATE% shows the correct time. But the counter restarts with zero and your old most users online are deleted.

    Try this:

    1. Deactivate the plugin on the plugin page .../wp-admin/plugins.php
    2. Delete it there, too (with all data)
    3. Download and unzip the 2.73-beta version
    4. Upload it on your ftp-server (in the plugin folder, of course)
    5. Activate the plugin on the plugin page .../wp-admin/plugins.php
    6. Check the options and save the widget if using

    For example now it shows:

11, on 11.05.2010 @ 03:53:19 (see it on my site)

I’ve found the problem with the dates too. Stable version is now 2.73.

    Thanks everyone for testing.

    Thanks you!
    you’re really good!

    Grazie a te Scribu!

@scribu: Do you know what was causing the problem? Updating now from 2.73-beta to 2.73 won’t cause any problems with its changes, will it?

I was using a MySQL formatted date instead of a timestamp. Now it’s converted when you activate the plugin, so there shouldn’t be any problems.

I just updated to 2.73 but the variable %MOSTONLINE_DATE% shows the current time. How can I fix this?? I don’t want to lose the record of most users online…
