• I’m seeing two “instances” of the wp-weather plugin in the WordPress admin plugin’s list. One is activated and one claims to be not activated. If I remove wp-weather, both instances disappear.

The plugin is working, but it’s cluttering up my plugins list. Any idea why it’s registering twice when I install it?

  • Never seen that before. Got a screen shot? What version of the plugin?

You should have two widgets in the widgets page, but not two instances on the plugins page.

Click the Image link for a screenshot. Note that it thinks one copy is active and the other isn’t, but it I attempt to delete the inactive copy it ends up completely uninstalling.

This is WordPress 3.0.4 with wp-weather 0.3.11. I’ve installed and uninstalled it a few times as I was going through the choices of which weather widget to add to my site. The plug-in works fine, but shows this funny admin symptom.
