[Plugin: WP Web Scraper] Output not valid xhtml

The web scraper converts valid xhtml to invalid html4 code.
<br /> transleted to <br>, img tag ending / stripped, etc.
This appears to be a known bug in the phpQuery extension this plugin uses, but since it makes the output not validate, so kills its usefulness for me. Ability to extract valid xhtml unfiltered is critical.https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-web-scrapper/
