• Hi,

The widget is successfully returning the correct HTML from the target website however the HTML that the widget includes within my webpage is “missing” a closing comment command (–>) for the initial HTML that lists the parameters used in the scrape. The result is that the data that is returned from the target website is up being included within the comment and the comment is only terminated after the “End of web scrap Computing time:” comment.

Is this a known issue or something that I can work around?

    Thanks for your help.

    Justin.

  • I am on the latest version of this plugin and WP 3.3.1, and do not have this problem. All comment blocks are properly formatted. Are you leaving the debug option at its default, or changing it or any other plugin default setting with that particular scrape instance? Is there some kind of comment code in the page you are scraping that maybe starts/stops outside of the scraped area?
