After updating to 2.0.13 all my avatars from comments that are imported from FB are the same picture.

The picture used in my avatar picture. The FB person’s name and link back to their profile page is correct, it’s just the picture being use is not correct. This worked correctly before updating to 2.0.13

What can I do to fix it?

I have turned off the setting for automatically posting FB comments using my email address in case the bug is from using that setting.

    Thank you,

Are you talking about the avatars inside or outside of Facebook? If you don’t have the “use global avatar” box checked (off by default) your gravatar outside of Facebook will go off of the commenters e-mail address which is a setting you can set in the WPBook admin settings.

If you check the box it’ll first look at their url for a Facebook profile username/id if found use that, if not use the e-mail.

If you’re having problems INSIDE your Facebook app let me know and post your app and site url and I’ll look into.

I did not have the “use global avatar” checked. Once I selected it the avatars on my blog changed to the correct picture for each FB users comments.

I must have unselected it (or the update removed that setting) by accident.

@randypollock we added that setting with the 2.13 update so before that it wasn’t there. The default is also set to off. The problem was that the WPBook avatar setting was effecting (and in some case negatively impacting) blogs outside of the app. I personally think that WPBook should do nothing to the site outside of Facebook without the express permission of the user. Therefor, we get this new setting.

    Sorry about the confusion.

No problem its good to see the option to use it or not, I’m one for more choices the better.

Once I made the switch it was also great to see it implement the change instantly.

For me this plugin really is nice as most of my comments are done on FB and before I found wpbook I was losing a lot of my conversations.

    Thanks guys,
