[Plugin: WPBook Lite] Error: Caught exception publishing to page as Post: (#200)

    I am receiving the following error from your App:
    Caught exception publishing to page as Post: (#200) This API call requires a valid app_id.Error code: 0

    However, I know that I have properly and correctly configured the Facebook App ID, Facebook App Secret, personal Facebook Profile ID, and Facebook page ID, as I had just finished testing publishing via Simple Facebook Connect (which I chose to remove because of wanting a different comment functionality and the plug-in including an excessive amount of og: image meta-data into my posts).

    Can you please advise?

    Also, you’ve said “it has the Facebook widget on the side” – is that done using a plugin which includes the Facebook SDK? Often those can cause conflicts.

    yes, should I delete it and the associated app in Facebook?

    I don’t know that Facebook allows two different applications with the same domain – never been able to get a straight answer from them on that.

    You might try deleting it and the associated app – but I don’t honestly know if it will solve the problem.

    I just looked and I only have the one app, thats used in your plugin. Could I have it set wrong?

    Hi, First I am not complaining, but I hired a coder and got ripped off…
    anyway I have deleted all facebook plugins ans widgets, deleted the app on facebook. started fresh

    installed plugin, created app as docs states, added setting info.
    went to wp and posted and got this error
    No post id returned from Facebook, $fb_response was /n and $fb_page_type was and $wpbook_description was test1002 and $my_title was test

    I would at least like to make your plugin work.

    @promitech – did you say in another forum you now had it working?

    Given that the $fb_page_type is blank, I would guess that either the group ID or the profile ID is incorrect.

    I ended up using wpbook.

    promitech can you say how please? i am running in the same problem ??

    I now use https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/dw-social-feed/ and it works great.
