[Plugin: WPBook] Not Publishing to FB Page, no errors

    I’ve been working on this a while and I cannot get it to publish to my FB Page Wall. It does publish to my FB app. I’ve been going through this forum checking for all possibilities and can’t figure it out.

    I’ve checked and granted permissions several times and entered the infinite session key. I’ve added my FB Page to the app and vice versa. The app is listed in my FB Page settings. I’m not getting any errors, if I’m even looking in the correct place for them. Nevertheless, I see no errors on the post page or the WPBook page.

    The only thing I can see that is off is that the FB app requires a trailing slash at the end of my Site URL (i.e. https://www.yumemedia.com/). WordPress won’t let me put a trailing slash at the end and I’m thinking that is why in the WPBook settings it has my Canvas Callback URL as https://www.yumemedia.com (no trailing slash). Don’t know if this makes a difference or not.

    When you “Check Permissions”, on that page it says:

    Your userid is XXXXXXXXXX

    You will need to enter that number into the WPBook settings page on your WordPress install.

    Where in the WPBook settings do you place that? I see where you put the FB Page ID but, not where you put this userid.

    You want to enter this where WPBook is asking for YOUR Facebook wall ID. The first picture should have a screen shot of what you’re looking for.

    If your app is working and importing post then the trailing slash it not an issue.

    So the FB app userid goes there instead of the FB Page ID?

    Ok, I put that userid that is given when you “Check Permissions” in this area:

    Publish new posts to the Wall of this Fan Page, Application Profile Page, or Group: PageID:

    It still didn’t publish to the FB Page. Just to be clear, I don’t want blog posts on my personal FB Profile, only on my FB FAN Page.

    Sorry if you want it to go you the fan page you should use your fan page id which is 148924248477828 and put that in the “Publish to wall of a fan page” and you also must make sure you are an admin and have permission to publish to that page. Have you tried checking “Show errors posting to Facebook Stream” and see what happens?

    Yeah, I had that checked from the beginning. I’ve not seen any errors but, like I said before, I might be looking in the wrong place. Where does it display errors?

    Ok, I deleted the app, deleted the plugin and started all over again and gone through the instructions step by step. It still is not publishing to my Facebook Fan Page wall.

    I’ll just do it the old copy/paste way. It’s obviously not going to work. I really wanted it to.

    Sorry to hear our plugin didn’t work out. You may want to try alternatives like WordBooker (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wordbooker/) or simular out there.
