    Just to clarify, the post DOES go to my facebook app, but NOT to the facebook page.

    my wife is having this exact same issue on her blog. I can’t test the patch right now, but will try it this evening around 8pm eastern.

    @stevenmusumeche When you say:

    the post DOES go to my facebook app, but NOT to the facebook page

    Do you mean that it is visible in the canvas page of your Facebook app? That’s just a live view of your blog inside an iFrame, and thus bypasses the whole publish_to_facebook.php routine altogether.

    Are you also posting to a personal profile wall? Have you tested to see if that works?

    So I’ve moved the access_token from the user_meta table into a spot in the options table – and will make this a part of a 2.1.2 release tonight or tomorrow. (Trying to wrap in some other fixes to, depending on what I get to).

    That will likely still require going once again through the “check permissions” link to “regrant” permissions, as I will now also be checking for the “manage pages” permission in addition to “read stream”, “publish stream” and “offline access” permissions granted in previous versions.

    I’ll make a post here in the forum as well when that new version goes live.

    Yes, the post is visible on the canvas page, I did not realize that was just a live view of the blog.

    I have been testing posting to a fan page, not a personal profile page. I just tested that, and it worked perfectly, so the issue must be specific to posting to a fan page.

    Great, I look forward to the release, no problem with having to regrant permissions.

    WPBook 2.1.2 has been released – you will need to regrant permissions, but they are now stored separately: one access_token for posting as you, another for posting as the page, based on the “manage_pages” permission.

    Let me know if it works for you, and be sure to visit the permissions page first.

    John, version 2.1.2 is the ticket!

    I noticed a new “manage my pages” permission setting that I approved. I think that was the missing link, because my test post just went up flawlessly.

    Thanks again for being so responsive.
