[Plugin: WPBook] Stream/Wall Option

  • Hello!

    My apologies if this has been discussed; however, I’ve looked and looked and don’t see anything.

    I am setting up WPBook and absolutely cannot get into or see or edit the Stream/Wall option. All it shows underneath is: Once your Facebook application is established by filling out the required information, return to edit streaming options. There is no plus sign.

    The only time I can see the plus sign is when I’m setting up Application View Options; however, that kicks me out before I can save too. ??

    It’s frustrating because I don’t know if I’m missing the obvious.

    Any assistance on this, I’d be very grateful! Thanks so much!

    In order to see the options you MUST enter and save the options in the required settings. So fill out your required settings and hit save and everything should be all magical. ??

    I have done exactly as you state several times and it doesn’t work. It will not show the plus sign at all and if it does and I click it, then I just see the message: Once your Facebook application is established by filling out the required information, return to edit streaming options.

    I’m so confused and don’t know if it’s my stupidity or something else?

    @websitesgiveback Sceenshots? Are your required settings being saved if you leave the settings page and come back?

    I also just did a clean install and it worked as it was suppose to. Are you seeing a message like “please complete all fields” at the top or are you seeing “your settings have been saved”

    It says, “your settings have been saved”. I completely deleted this plug in and then reinstalled and it’s doing the same thing. Each time I save, it says “your settings have been saved”, yet still totally does the same wacky thing.

    You did that mostly right. I can’t see your app URL and generally it’s not a good idea to post screenshots with your app secret visible. (you can request a new secret if you’d like from FB but just for future reference if you have a way to blur it that’s good)

    Anyway, back to the problem at hand. If you go to your canvas url does your app load? What is your canvas url? I might have you check for the required values in the wp_options table. Are you saying that the View/App options (third tab) won’t open either?

    HI, you need to follow instructions and go to the groups link, you’re confusing username with ID. (I think)
