[Plugin: WPBook] Using Wpbook and intensedebate… problems importing comments

    i’m using wpbook and intense debate. issue is that wpbook is not importing comments from facebook.

    in fact the intense debate comments box made by automatic shows. is there a way to fix this?

    please advise.

    I should add… that the application i created is https://apps.facebook.com/hairwego_comments/?ref=bookmarks&count=0 and the fanpage tab is: https://www.facebook.com/HairWeGo?sk=app_222823313810

    Notice the comments aren’t showing.

    I would like to continue using them on the wordpress side but how do I remove intensedebate comments from showing on facebook? Please let me know.

    Sorry if I’ve misunderstood, but you want to prevent intensedebate comments from showing on Facebook?

    I’m not seeing any intensedebate comment box in your facebook application or tab.

    Did you disable intense debate?

    Hey john… yes i disabled intense debate as I wasn’t able to figure out how to specify to use wordpress comments for wpbook and intensedebate comments on the wordpress side.
    I’d really like to use intense debate. if its possible.

    @mkkal If you are using the IntenseDebate Comments Plugin found here try adding remove_filter( 'comments_template', 'id_comments_template' ); to wpbook/theme/config.php This should remove the IntenseDebate filter from Facebook. I haven’t tested it just browsed the IntenseDebate source and that looks like the correct filter.

    If that dosen’t work you can also do it the manual way by checking if inside of Facebook before running the plugin (See FAQ 2)
