    The wordpress shortcodes are showing up on facebook even when there is text on the pages…

    What version of WordPress?

    Are you using some kind of plugin that is looking for these shortcodes? (I recognize the caption one but not playlist or catlist).

    Can you point to an example?

    WPBook uses the built in WordPress functions to grab the content and excerpt of blog posts, so it shouldn’t bypass any filters unless they are specific to the theme.
