• Hi everyone. So I had a really bad experience with this plugin and I’d like to share it with you guys, so you don’t make the same mistake.

    First of all, I want to clarify that WPGlobus itself, worked really well for me and that I had issues with the WooCommerce extension they offer (and it’s not free). So basically, the free version of their product works fine but the one you pay for kinda sucks.

    After paying for the plugin that would allow me to translate 100% the site I was working on for my client I started using it but only could translate the product categories.

    When accessing the ecommerce cart I would always see the english version of the site instead of the spanish/english/danish accordingly.

    I decided to write a ticket and I got an answer in good time. After this, I began to send messages and receive answers for a couple of weeks to try and solve the issue. The person who answered me was kind and responsive, I have no complaints regarding him till something else happened.

    After some weeks trying to solve this issue, he finally told me that the issue I was suffering had to do with WooCommerce itself, not WPGlobus and that they could fix it charging me 50dls per hour and they assumed it would take 3hs to be done.

    So I asked myself, who is in charge of translating stuff? WooCommerce or WPGlobus? Who did I pay to provide me a tool to translate my ecommerce? WooCommerce or WPGlobus? And now they ask me to pay them 150dls for that? Why did I pay for the WPGlobus Woocommerce extension & support license then?

    I got kinda angry and told them what I thought and even warned them that I might post the situation here. They said they had no problem but asked me to share the full story and I think I’m being honest. I can provide the WHOLE conversation we had over a month and a half but I think there’s a lot of irrelevant (and some private) info.

    So well, that’s my version of the facts, and I really don’t recommend this addon if you have an ecommerce.
