[Plugin: WPGPlus] Suggestion: handle galleries in posts

  • I recently generated a post that ONLY contained a gallery. WGPlus posted the entry to G+ with the WP code for the embedded gallery. I just wanted to suggest that, perhaps, should a gallery be detected in the post, that the plugin merely say something like “Photo Gallery: <LINK>” where the post link is then placed in the <LINK> placeholder.

    Just a thought! (like you probably don’t have too much to do already…!)

    I can provide a screen capture of what the current WP Gallery -> G+ post looks like, if you need it.

    I’d love to see what the current post resulted in.

    The whole thing is still fairly primitive at this point, based on impersonating the mobile Google+ client.

    If they provide a read/write API we’ll be able to do a lot more, but right now it may be tricky to get photos in.
