[Plugin: wpMandrill] Mandrill: wp_mail has been declared by another process

    Hi there,

    First post on the www.ads-software.com support forums, so sorry if I’ve missed something.

    I receive the following error when I activate the Mandrill plugin:
    Mandrill: wp_mail has been declared by another process or plugin, so you won’t be able to use Mandrill until the problem is solved.

    I’m using Mandrill 1.20 and I have narrowed the error down to Cart66 Professional 1.5.0.2 (being the other process using wp_mail).

    Anyway, I was unsure who I should be asking about a resolution to this, so I figured why not both (Mandrill and Cart66). This way I can help other people find a resolution to this problem quicker in the future.

    Any advice would be appreciated, I’ll post back any information I receive from Cart66 regarding this.

    I also have a same problem, and I don’t know what process or plugin have been declared by now.

    To solve this problem, I checked email header.

    Received-SPF: Pass (hoge1.com: domain of [email protected] designates mandrill host IP as permitted sender ) client-ip: mandrill host IP

    Above headder, I sent from mandrill plugin “Send a test email using these settings”. this test email secceeded from mandrill.

    Received-SPF: None (hoge1.com: domain of [email protected] does not designate permitted sender hosts ) client-ip: server host IP

    Above header, I sent from contact form 7 page I set up. This unsucceeded email never used mandrill.

    I don’t understand what point(config file or database) I should check.

    Please advise me what points I should check to solve this problem.

    Whenever wpMandrill can’t send an email through Mandrill it leaves a trace in the log file. That should be your first stop.

    If you can’t see any trace there, then the sending process (contact form 7 or whatever) is probably using other means to send its emails instead of the standard wp_mail function. In these cases I’d try to contact the developers of such plugins.

    I tried to check what plugins make problem and found a trouble plugin.

    I’d recommend you to contact the developers and make them use the standard mailing function of WordPress, wp_mail.
