[Plugin: WPMU Simple Dashboard] Wish – WP 3.0 Multisite version

  • Would like to see a WP 3.0 multi-site version of this tool. This appears to work only with WPMU websites.

    OK.. my bad. It DOES work with WP 3.0 multi-site.

    So… you must install the plugin MANUALLY – literally follow the instructions for installation. Open the zip file and move the file cets_simple_dashboard.php into the /wp-content/mu-plugins directory.

    If you upload/install via wordpress, the tool will only work for the site you install it on. You MUST install manually by copying the single PHP file into /wp-content/mu-plugins directory. Then it works across all WP 3.0 multi-sites.

    Unfortunately, this plugin has two side-effects:

    1) the font for the feeds is changed to a bold font
    2) removing various modules via [x] to hide them also impacts the SuperAdmin. This is undesired.

    I second the wish for a version that I can network enable instead of putting it into the mu-plugins folder since that would help me keep updated…
