[Plugin: WPtouch] Couple of questions

  • We installed wptouch and then tested it on an ipod.

    I tried to toggle between the wptouch screen and the standard desktop version on the ipod. When I flipped to the standard version of the website I did not find a way to toggle back to the wptouch version. How is this done?

    Also we inserted our adsense pub id and channel number on the settings screen but do not see any ads on the ipod. Does nayone have this working?

  • Make sure you have the <?php wp_footer(); ?> function call in your desktop theme’s footer.php file, just above the body tag.

    We don’t have any other reported issues with Adsense working on iPod touch’s. Website address?

    Good call on the function call at the end of footer.php. That solved that problem.

    We are still working on the site for a client and can’t post the address publiclly.

    The theme we are using is custom with custom sidebars. I am not sure if that is related to the adsense problem. The ads display on the site without any issues.

    As noted above I entered the pub-id code including the “pub-” and the channel number in the wptouch settings.

    Currently the ads only appear in the sidebars on the desktop version. I am not sure how that would translate to the wptouch version and where the ads would be displayed on the ipod.
