[Plugin: WPtouch] php the_author() issue

    I’ve implemented the custom variable, as instructed by Google, which will show me the author statistics in Analytics.
    However, this variable is not correctly read by WPTouch, so for all mobile traffic I only see <?php the_author(); ?> variable, instead of the author.

    Any idea how to fix this?
