  • Hi Dennis,

Do you mean switching between the desktop theme and the mobile theme?

No, I mean the theme. In the desktop version you can choose from different themes, right? Like the TwentyTen, TwentyEleven, etc.

And I’m interested in developing my own theme, but using the WpTouch. But I think the only way now is overwriting the default theme folder.

Only WPtouch Pro ships with a developer theme, and offers the ability to create child themes and customize that way right now.

Hmm, understand. But if I can change for my own the default theme folder, don’t?

@bravenewcode, are there any other plugins to solve this issue? @dennis, I was looking for something like this myself, any luck with it?

    Cheers.

I didn’t make anything yet, but I have almost sure that is possible changing the default theme directly in plugin directory.

    Dennis,

That is possible. However, all your changes will be overwritten each time you update. WPtouch Pro supports child themes, which means all your changes/customizations will survive upgrades and your child theme will be able to receive updates automatically when updating the plugin.
