[Plugin: WPZeus Worker] Is it a joke?

  • Plugin installed in local and in remote, in both administration appear the alert: “Attention !

    You activated the WPZeus worker plugin but have not yet added this site to your account. Please add the site to your control-panel now or deactivate the plugin.”
    which account? where? what control panel? no menu installed to go somewhere.. what it means in point 3 of installation instructions: “Visit your given management URL and Login with your double-authentication” which or where “given management URL”?
    And, apart plugin, is this a fee based service?

    i am encountering the very same problem.

    It was the same message that just wouldn’t go away and was present on every page of my admin area:

    “Attention !

    You activated the WPZeus worker plugin but have not yet added this site to your account. Please add the site to your control-panel now or deactivate the plugin.”

    Then i deactivated the plugin to figure out what to do next at my own pace ..

    But then i was thinking i should have the plugin active and find a plugin settings item or so in my admin side bar.

    So I reactivated WPZeus worker and to my utter disbelief couldn’t find the actual plugin no more on the plugin page (i made sure i was viewing “All” plugins .. although upon a regular plugin search i found it said “already installed” .. it was mind boggling!

    So .. i’ll contact the plugin creators via their website as soon as possible but i was able to get rid of the dreadful warning message by simply deleting the WPZeus worker plugin folder from my uploaded files on the remote host server via FTP

    The problem is gone now but as i am indeed the owner of several WP powered blogs all used within the same context i still strongly support the concept of managing all my stuff from within one admin area.

    And oh yes … indeed the message in the installation explanation is totally incomprehensible if you ask me .. just as my fellow forum poster points out here.

    So i have the zip file waiting on my puter and i really want to make this thing work! ..

    Im talking to Vladimir of Prevolac Media the authors of ManageWP which is the plublic version of the plugin wp-zeus. We are in talks of the mixup due to the GNU licence.

    Loophole Studios holds a developer licence and has a fork on wordpress to make major changes to the original source code in order to facillitate updates via wordpress svn outside of the original plugin.

    This was purley acidental and mis-communication. The plugin can be found at https://www.managewp.com/ please remove this plugin from your sites.

    i got an email from ManageWP (can’t find the email right now but i believe they were the senders) ..

    My probbie is solved! ..

    They indeed gave me a dashboard to log into and i added my blogs without a glitch!
