    Hi WTI

thank you for a great plugin! Here a few suggestions:

    – The ability to manually insert (at the php level) the counter and most liked widget is crucial to me.

    – Having a separate CSS file to modify. I have heavily modified the original CSS and hope that this wont be totally replaced when I update next

    – it would be useful to see how many likes a post has when in the admin section. I.e. on the “edit page” section or as a column in the “all posts” section.

Thanks for the hard work, I’m currently testing out this plugin but I will donate should I fully implement it!

    Hi Mutty,
    Thanks for your valuable suggestions.

    – I have intentionally not given any manual insertion option to have the correct data on the site. You can instead reset the count for selected/all posts. I am not sure what you want with most liked posts widget. Its already there.

    – Instead of modifying the original plugin css file, you should rather modify your theme css file. Otherwise you will lose your custom css in plugin upgrade.

    – Yes, I will add functionality to see how many likes a post has in the post admin section.

    Thanks Again ??

    Hi again,

thanks for the tip, I think my css modifications are now safe from future updates.

    – understand that you want to release the manual insert option when it is ready. Re: most liked plugin – I would like to see it as a php code as well as a widget, so that I have more options with the styling.

After a bit more testing I thought of one more suggestion/option that I would love to see:

Fading out the “Thank you” or “You have already voted” message after x seconds of clicking on the like button. I feel the messages are necessary but don’t always look good especially when trying a minimal design.

    Thanks again – great work!

    Best,
    Mutty

    Hi Mutty,
Your suggestions are highly appreciated. I will add the fading out effect of the messages after clicking the button. But sorry to say I am still not sure with your widget question. You can find the most liked posts widget in the admin widget section. I think apart from the widget you need a php function which will render the like buttons. Please do let me know. Not sure though.

    Thanks
