    This is the best WYSIWYG editor out there, and it’s unfortunate that the author has gone MIA. Here is the fix to get this working for your site, and if the author does not respond, I’ll release another version so we can easily add it to our sites.

    In the file: /wp-content/wysiwyg-widgets/php/backend.php

    Remove Line 74:

    wp_tiny_mce(true,array('height' => 350));

    The height will now extend a little past the dialog box, but well worth having a working plugin!

  • I just removed the plugin, removed line 74 and reinstalled….no success

    You can make the changes while the plugin is active. Also, I’m using Chrome and have not tested in any other browsers.

    I am also using chrome and changed while it was active and while it was unactive…weird….never the less i love this plugin and would really like to find a stable version or a comparable plugin….any ideas

    My only other idea is to make my own plugin with working methods, however I will not be doing that for at least a few weeks (hopefully this author shows up and fixes his own)

    Sorry for the delayed response. I’m currently looking into a possible fix for WP 3.2.1 although WordPress 3.3 will most likely come with an updated implementation of TinyMCE.

    I’ve been very busy in the last few weeks, sorry for that. I’ll look into the problem ASAP!

    Kind regards, Danny

    Danny,

    Thanks for the update! Check out that line I pointed out, it seems that the latest versions of WordPress have a hard time re-sizing the height of the editor area.

    Thanks skyer2000, your fix works a treat for me in Firefox!

    Thanks for the heads up Skyer. I’ll test your fix a bit more and push an update. ?? Had some drastic changes in mind, but no luck so far..
