• Hello,

I love this plugin, I wonder if it is possible to make this plugin to work only on the primary domain (the main site) and *not* on the subdomains?

In my case, I do not require the XML feeds for subdomains, because subdomains are used only for testing and development. The actual reason is I do not want the search engines to go through my sub-domains.

I wonder, if I turn off the privacy on subdomains, would that do? Or if I enable it only for the primary domain (instead of enabling it for the network), would that do?

(I’m sorry, I’m not a developer, I’m just starting out on all these things).

    Thanks,
    Pothi

  • Hi,

Yes, by setting the Privacy option to block search engines, the sitemap will shut down too.

You could indeed also do it by only enabling the plugin on the main site (that should work too) but I would advise you to make a habit of blocking search engines from any testing/development sites. So setting the privacy option is the best way to go here ??
