[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] No related post, ever.

  • No matter how I change the settings, I get no related posts.

    I had to manually install (copied everything to my plugin folder) and added the loop to my single file. Is there more that I have to do? Am I missing something?

    Similar plugins (link within, nrelate) work, but I really would rather use yarpp.

  • Sean, what do you mean by “added the loop to my single file”? The code you should add to your single file is <?php related_posts(); ?>, although you could alternatively use the “automatically display” option in the YARPP options.

    If you’re just getting “no related posts”, it may help to deactivate + reactivate the plugin, or to wait and see if publishing a new post will trigger the updating. Also make sure you don’t have caching plugins interfering.
