[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Show only distinct related posts?

Hello there,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to only show distinct related posts?

I have built my WordPress page into an events calendar and there are many repeating events (posts), with the same title and content. Thus the related posts plugin only shows the repeating posts, which is a bit of a problem. Could there be a way to only show related posts with, for example, different titles?
