For some reason the most recent version of YARP is causing my feed to not work properly. I was going nuts trying to figure out why my feed wouldn’t load and it ended up being this plug-in. I deactivated it and the feed worked. Not sure what it is though. Would be great if this could be fixed. Thanks!

  • Hi @fgt – I’m not familiar with the Better Feed plugin, so I’ll take a look at that incompatibility for the next release. Thanks for the report.

    Hi mitchoyoshitaka,

I sorry it has taken so long to get back to you but I checked it a day or two later and it looks like it is ok. It must have been caching, even thought I though I thought I cleared it.

    Thanks

    Hi all–

I’ve finally released a beta of YARPP version 3.0 which now has a YARPP-internal cache. This should help substantially for the RSS timeout issues. I would appreciate it if you guys could give it a whirl: YARPP 3.0 beta 1. Thank you!

    RSS doesn not work well.

In association with Podpress we ve got an 500 Error on stats and also RSS

    Help needed ??

@palmipode – As I mentioned above, this is a known issue with YARPP 2.x which will be resolved with YARPP 3.0. If you would like, you can try the beta (3.0 beta 1) which has a caching feature which will fix this issue. Otherwise, I recommend you turn off the “automatic display in RSS feeds” option. ??

I’m having the same issue with Better Feed. I’d love for the YARPP output to appear beneath the Better Feed output.

@pitchers Hit Eighth – I’ll have to take a look at that Better Feed plugin and see how I can work with it, but it may be tricky. :/

It must have something to do with the related_posts function, because even after disabling the YARPP output for the RSS feed, Better Feed has not started working again.

I want to use YARP with tdo-mini-forms plugin, what I need is when user write a post and PREVIEW, before saving it show related post.

Is there any function that take form data as parameter and return related post array? or any idea to achieve this task?

    Please help me out.

    Hi,

I tried to activate this plugin ‘Yet Another Related Posts Plugin’ and since then i am not able to access my wp-admin interface,

here is the error that I am seeing,

WordPress database error The used table type doesn’t support FULLTEXT indexes for query ALTER TABLE wp_posts ADD FULLTEXT yarpp_title ( post_title) made by require_once, do_action, call_user_func_array, yarpp_upgrade_check
WordPress database error The used table type doesn’t support FULLTEXT indexes for query ALTER TABLE wp_posts ADD FULLTEXT yarpp_content ( post_content) made by require_once, do_action, call_user_func_array, yarpp_upgrade_check

I logged in thru FTP and checked the plugins folder and I didn’t see any folder/files related to thsi plugin.

Could someone guide me what to do.
    advanced thanks.

@tirupaticityonline – are you using MySQL >4.1? That is a requirement.

@tariq_mth – sorry I wasn’t looking at this thread for a while, but that is an interesting idea… Not sure if/how it would be possible, though… Perhaps you could start a new topic here for this feature request?
