Hi Mitcho,

First off, let me just say YARPP is an awesome plugin. Haven’t had any problem with it until now.

I’m using a custom template for YARPP. I remember it being fine a day ago but it is now printing two of the same related articles. The custom template I’m using is the first sample you shared in your post here: https://mitcho.com/blog/projects/yarpp-3-templates/.

I’ve tried turning off “automatically display related posts” but no luck. The related article list is being displayed in custom category pages and as I understand it (which is not much), I have to manually use this code to call YARPP: <?php related_posts(); ?>.

@djam1317 this issue should be resolved by version 3.2.1.

Hello again Mitcho.
I am working with valandilearfalas and we have tried reinstalling YARPP and activated the newest version which is 3.2.1b4.
However the duplicates are still on the two pages:

https://www.australiancreditcards.com.au/best-travel-card/ and the other links that valandilearfalas mentioned above.

@djam1317 3.2.1b4 is not the latest version. 3.2.1 is newer than 3.2.1b4, and now there’s also a 3.2.2. Please try that, dropping your yarpp_related_cache tables once.

Hi Mitcho,

We have updated to 3.2.2 and dropped our yarpp_related_cache tables. There are no more duplicate related articles that showed in any list but the lists are all the same for the following pages:

@djam1317 well, depending on your relatedness criteria, sometimes you will get the same posts showing up as related for multiple other posts, maybe even in the same order. There’s nothing I can do to guarantee that that won’t happen.
