[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] YARPP: Will this work for portfolios?

am i getting “no related posts” because this plugin does not work for portfolio pages? I’ve read through the forum and changed the relatedness options and the max threshold. Is there a way to get it to work for portfolio pages?
