  • A client emailed me today freaking out because he updated the plugin and it “broke” his site.

For what it’s worth, the line turning on display errors is not hard to find. It’s at the beginning of youtube-sidebar-widget.php. I deleted it for now and I’ll wait for an update.

I spent hours yesterday trying to figure this out. I like the plugin, but that was bad.

    Hey guys,

Sorry about that. I have committed a new version that removes the debug code. If you like, before you update, please send me a screenshot of the errors being thrown(assuming they’re made by the plugin, and not just being displayed by the plugin). I’d like to get rid of any notices or errors generated.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

The errors weren’t in your code, so I fixed the errors in my code – they looked like the sort of errors that come from a php upgrade, and I hadn’t noticed the errors in the error log before. (so, thanks for making me see those errors…)

And thanks for uploading the new version so quickly.

    Marking as resolved.
