[Plugin: Zazzle Widget] author is substituting his own associate ID

I just noticed that the links in my Zazzle Widget had the wrong associate ID, so I went digging through the code. I found that the author is substituting his own associate ID one in every two page views. This behavior should be clearly written in the documentation.
