Hello, thanks for Zotpress! It’s working great on our full biblio page, but I’m unable to get the sidebar widget to display anything. I am running the latest version of Zotpress (4.1.1); I have an account nickname, a user ID, and a collection ID. Any which way I enter this information in the widget settings doesn’t work. Ideas? Currently I have:

The group ID field filled in
Data types is set to “items”
    Content is set to “bib”
    sort by is “author”
    limit is “5”
    Show image is “no”
    Show download is “no”

I’ve tried with and without the collection ID; with and without a Tag (I tagged one content item); using the nickname instead of the group ID…. What I would like to see is a few publications listed, that I tag as “featured”.

    Thanks for any guidance.

Should be fixed 4.2+. Let me know if otherwise.

No go. I know it’s doing *something* because if I type in a wrong nickname I see an error “no citations could be found”. But w/ the correct nickname OR group ID, I get an empty (but titled) sidebar widget.

I’m assuming I should be able to fill in only the following fields:

    Widget Title
    Nickname
    Data type = items
    (do I need collection ID?)
    Content type = Bib
    Sort by: Date
    Sort order: Dec
    Limit = 5
    Show image = no
    show URL = no
Show title = Yes (? this is new?

We are pulling from a zotero public group, and the regular short code on a page works wonderfully.

    Thanks for any guidance.

Can you try clearing the cache? There’s a button on the Zotpress page in WP admin, below the filters on the main screen.

    Just tried, still nothing.

Hmm … I’m not sure what to suggest, but I can take a look at it personally. Feel free to contact me privately with your Zotero group ID, nickname and private key (don’t post them here).

Well, really stupid question but how do I contact you privately? I’m new to these forums and don’t see where I can find your info. Thanks for the help.

Not a stupid question — I can’t figure it out either. ?? How about sending me an email via the form on my website: https://katieseaborn.com/contact (I’d paste my email but I’m aferd of spambots.)
