[Plugin:CMS Press] Controlling Post Display Lists

If I have two types of content, lets say one group is the default “Posts” and the other is “Definitions” (created through cms press), will this work in such a way that only the Posts appear in the ‘Recent Posts’ sidebar widget?
Or would the sidebar widget still consider all entries that were not pages to be posts?
