Plugins are so SPAMMY!

  • You need not answer. This is just a complaint about which you will almost certainly do nothing, or you would have done it already.

    Searching from the plugins page is pretty much unusable, since you have allowed all of the authors to enter every possible keyword known to man (and woman) for all of their plugins, therefore defeating the purpose. Even fairly detailed searches return 100 pages of plugins. It is disgusting.

    Open Source, apparently contrary to your beliefs, do not mean anarchy.

    Plugins aren’t supposed to use more than 12 (because as you noted, it gets insane). We do try to rein in the anarchy, but it’s an ipso post facto audit.

    You can use google to search for the right wordpress plugins . you’ll probably get better results . Also check ratings and reviews of the plugin before installing
