When the plugin is active and someone clicks the forgot password the reset page fails. When the plugin is not active it works correctly.

    Can you investigate please?

    Hi @thefingerprint !
I tested just now with 2 clean installs of WordPress and reset the password successfully.

Have you tested with clean WordPress installs, default theme and no activated plugins?

Do you have more information regarding what “fails” means in “the forgot password the reset page fails”?

so i setup a dev version of the site and on the 2020 default theme with every plugin deactivated. the password page works. as soon as i activate the plugin the forget password link fails as it loads a page without the reset password details.

    Hi @thefingerprint ,

I see the reset password page is dependent on a plugin, since /?action=forgot_password is not a default WordPress path for that page.

On my end, I have confirmed that the default /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword path works as intended with clean installs.

Could you please provide more information?

Please also confirm you have acknowledged the content of the TROUBLESHOOTING section of the plugin description page.

I believe it maybe a conflict with Memberpress Plugin. As when that is deactivated it works correctly. Are you able to look into that to see where that conflict maybe?

This falls under the INTEGRATIONS part of the plugin description page. For investigation towards integration and/or integration itself, please open an issue on Github.

As you have said the issues seems to be fine if we use the normal lostpassword link. I have updated the memberpress login form to redirect to the standard url /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword which seems to have resolved the issue. I will notify Memberpress for them to investigate further.

Thanks for your assistance you can close the ticket.
