• Hello,
    There is no Add New button on the Plugins page, and I cannot delete any plugins.

    1. In order to activate each plugin, I first deactivated them all
    2. Temporarily switched to another theme
    3. My current mode is admin.

    There is still no Add New option on the plugins page.

    What could be the possible problem.

    Hi there,

    First thing that comes to mind would be what host are you on? I do know there are some who lock things down but would be good to know just in case as well.

    Are you able to connect to the site via SFTP? If you aren’t sure on how, you can reach out to your host on how that can be done.

    You may be unable to see the ‘Add New’ button on the Plugins page for a few reasons.

    Firstly, your user account may not have the necessary permissions to install plugins. If this is the case, you will need to log in as an administrator or ask an administrator to install the plugin for you.

    Secondly, your WordPress installation may be running an outdated version that does not support the ‘Add New’ button.
