  • Hi Liliana,

You can install Elementor on your site alongside another page builder as long as you just don’t edit each other’s content. Using Elementor along with other page builders might result in a plugin conflict or it might create some unwanted changes to the page content.

Please note that with Elementor you’ll be able to create and edit new pages, but it will not allow you to edit existing pages that were not built with Elementor.

I hope this answers your questions, thank you!

    Thank you Rabina,

Let′s see if I understood; I can create and edit a page with Elementor exclusively, and another page with Spectra exclusively but NOT both of them together in the same page and this will not harm the website.

If this is correct, please advice me as to how I should manage headers and footers.

    Thank you again!

    Liliana

    Hi Liliana,

Since you are using both the builder to create the site that might not work properly due to compatibility issues.

I would recommend using Elementor Header/Footer if the website is created only with Elementor Builder else you can try using the default Theme Header/Footer and see if it works using both the Builder.

Also, the light version of Elementor does not have an option for the Header/Footer Theme Builder. So, if you are an Elementor Pro user, you can open a support ticket at my.elementor.com

I’d also suggest you check out our Elementor Community forum, we have created it to connect Elementor users together and share knowledge, my.elementor.com.
