• Every time I set any plugins as “Admin Type” or “Page Type” and configure the “Page Type Activation” section it works great at first. After about 20-30 minutes, however, all of the configured plugins are deactivated and break the website. I’m not sure where to start looking for the issue because it only happens every 20-30 minutes and there are not any errors logged anywhere. Can you please help me figure out what’s going on?

    I don’t know what’s going on here.

If you can check the error log, there may be some errors recorded there.
Or. If you define define( 'WP_DEBUG', true); in your wp-config.php file, you may see an error.

I’ve checked the error log and tried turning on debugging. I’m not seeing any errors. I even installed a development version of the site on the same server and set all of the settings the same. This time it took longer, but the plugins still disabled themselves completely on the production site, however on the development site they remained active as they should. The only difference between the two sites is that the development site does not see traffic. Any other ideas?

There is a difference between traffic and non-traffic, and the symptom of the problem occurring in 20-30 minutes suggests that it may be related to the wp-cron process.

Install the WP Crontrol plugin or something similar and check for cron events that run every 20-30 minutes.

I thought that too, but havent’t found the issue yet. The good news is that it seems to have done the same error on my development site today so I can start troubleshooting there. I’ll run through the scheduled tasks and see if any of them are triggering it. I’ll let you know if I’m able to find what’s causing this.

I’ve tried running all of the scheduled tasks and browsing around the site and still can’t track down what is triggering these to deactivate completely. The development site doesn’t seem to deactivate as quickly as the production site does so I even tried the daily tasks with no luck. Any other ideas?

Is it possible to paste information obtained from Site Health Info?
If so, please exclude the URL and other parts of the site and paste it.

If you are not using a paid plugin, I will try to install the same plugin in my test environment and see if it reproduces, but if it does not, it will be very difficult to identify the cause.

    I’m seeing some strange conditions.

The plugin load filter plugin uses plf-filter.php as a must use plugin, but it is not there!.

Normally, when you open the configuration screen of plugin load filter, if plf-filter.php does not exist, it will be installed.
Try uninstalling plugin load filter and then reinstalling it to configure the settings.

One more thing, do you know what plugin installed installatron_hide_status_test.php in Must used plugin?
You can try deleting this file in your test environment and see if the symptoms change.
