Plugins disappeared from WP repository
-
Hi,
I’m a little concerned about the state of the following plugins:
- PDF Embedder Secure
- PDF Thumbnails Premium
As a Pro user, I have those plugins installed in my WP instance. My portal shows available updates for both of them; however, any attempt to update fails.
I did some digging and it looks like those plugins disappeared from the WP Plugins repository completely.
Additionally, when I enter plugin settings I can only see ‘There has been a critical error on this website’. Here is the error stack trace from the logs:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: PDFEmbedder\Admin\Admin::get_url(): Argument #1 ($section) must be of type string, null given, called in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/src/Admin/Admin.php on line 249 and defined in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/src/Admin/Admin.php:746

My installed plugins:
- PDF Embedder (v4.9.0) by PDF Embedder
- PDF Embedder Premium Secure (v4.4.5) by Lever Technology LLC
- PDF Embedder Secure (v5.2.3) by PDF Embedder
- PDF Thumbnails Premium (v1.5.0) by PDF Embedder
Could you please advise which of those plugins I should keep? What is the state of the plugins mentioned at the beginning?
